Why People Are So Ungrateful ?

I've been thinking about something that bothers me. People are ungrateful. I see kids yelling for an ice cream, because they don't like their current taste. Of course, they're kids. But man, be happy with what you have. People are jealous because some friend bought an iPhone 4. Be happy with what you have. You have a house to live in, you can go to college, you can get a job. Others in the world don't have any of them. People wish for more. They got a nice house and nice car. But they still wish to have a triplex penthouse on Binjai On The Park or at least, a bungalow at Seri Hartamas. They already have Honda Accord or Toyota Wish but the still want more. They want BMW 5 Series Sedan or at least, BMW 335i. So ungrateful, right? They have a job. Nothing is wrong with making a wish, but people who already have a lot wish for more. What about the poor? Some people deny to eat some food, simply beacuse they don't like it. They don't realise that somewhere in the world there are kids who would kill for that.

Why people are so ungrateful ?

Because some people were given everything they want. I think that what make some people ungrateful or they have not really experienced hardship in their lives. So if they do, they learn to appreciate the little things in life. Because it's always been there, they don't see it as amazing or special, or the beauty in it. I could see a great sunset every evening and always feel great appreciation for the wonders of this world, how wondrously. But, most people who have had something handed to them don't know how to appreciate and take for granted. They not been in the position of going through a lot in order to obtain something. Throughout their lives, they have had things handed to them. Especially in relationships, most people are so ungrateful when a person who is good them, and they take advantage of someone else. They are so blind to see. These things derived from being self-centered and full of pride. A lot of people who are ungrateful, most of them are things who take other and people for granted. That is for sure.
