When I think of you my love

I, passing by to catch a glimpse of the sunshine

if we had time enough

we should think (while sitting)

and reason before our time

before you entered womanhood

I will love you ten years

after your time and you can refuse me

until you turn twenty-one

When I first saw you, what was it in you

that attracted me to love you

and pour out words from my heart

why did I bleed my pen

to form these words

the words dancing in my heart

may be it is the beauty in your smile

the love in your heart

the glow in your eyes

then I wonder

what makes me sit down in my quiet time

to dedicate special times to think about you
